Cheesy Pizza Pasta Casserole


  • 1 lb. rotini pasta, cooked according to package directions
  • 1 lb. mild Italian sausage
  • 1 (7 oz) package sliced pepperoni, cut into quarters
  • 1/2 cup diced yellow onion
  • 1/2 cup diced green bell pepper
  • 1 cup Ricotta Cheese
  • 1 (24 oz) jar pasta sauce
  • 1 (14 oz) jar pizza sauce
  • 1 (8 oz) package shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1 (8 oz) package shredded Italian Style Five-Cheese blend
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan Cheese


  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat, cook and crumble Italian sausage until no longer pink. Add pepperoni, onions and green bell pepper;saute for 10 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Remove from heat and stir in the ricotta cheese, cooked pasta, pasta sauce and pizza sauce; stir to combine evenly. Transfer half of the pasta mixture to a lightly greased 9x13x2-inch baking dish. Top with the shredded mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers, ending with the Italian style five-cheese blend, then sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese. Bake, uncovered for 25 to 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Enjoy!
